Bilingual Transcription Admin

(In Office, Ottawa)

eDecree is looking for a full-time Bilingual Transcription Administrative Assistant to take on daily administrative and document translation tasks. This is an in-office position. This role includes translation, all candidates must have attention to detail and intermediate level English and French grammar and comprehension. 

Responsibilities

  • Managing daily intake

  • Managing daily office admin tasks

  • Client communication

  • Document translation 

  • Virtual reporting

  • Transcription 

  • Entering information to assist with various business processes

Requirements

  • Attention to detail

  • Strong English grammar and comprehension

  • Strong French grammar and comprehension

  • Computer literacy with strong MS Word skills

  • Eligible candidates are required to have resided in Canada for at least 5 years

  • Current RCMP criminal background check Level 1 upon hiring.

Work Location & Hours

  • Our office is located at 170 Laurier Ave W, Unit 602 Ottawa, ON K1P 5V5, Canada

  • Open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., Monday to Friday, with morning, afternoon and evening shifts.

  • Open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Saturday, with morning and afternoon shifts.

Compensation

  • $22.00/hour to start 

  • $23.00/hr after three-month probation, depending on performance.

  • Vacation as per ESA standards, and is paid out on each pay cheque

  • Full health benefits are provided, including pharma, dental, eye, chiro, physio, etc., after three-months of probation.
